EDUCATION LINE OF CREDIT

WHAT IS IT?

A line of credit that a student can use to pay for post-secondary educational expenses such as:

  • Tuition
  • Room and Board
  • Books
  • Fees
  • Computer

WHY DO I NEED IT?

The line can help pay educational expenses that aren't covered by Stafford loans, Pell Grants, and other government financial aid.

The line will be in the student's name. A guarantor will normally be required. Full and part time students are encouraged to apply. There is no origination fee and no penalty for early payoff.

The maximum line amount is $100,000 and the maximum term is 15 years. Interest only payments are made while the student is in school and the interest only period can be extended for 6 months once the student graduates or leaves school.
