BRONCO FEDERAL CREDIT
UNION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Finding
money for college isn't easy. Bronco Federal Credit Union
has scholarships available for 2008.
|
Bronco
Federal Credit Union Scholarships
are offered to college-bound seniors who are members of Bronco
Federal Credit Union. Three $5,000 awards are made annually.
The
JOHN ALAN GLASGOW Scholarship is offered
to college-bound seniors who are members in good standing
of Bronco Federal Credit Union. It is offered in memory of
John Alan Glasgow, Franklin High School Class of 1999, to
recognize the scholastic and life achievements of a graduating
student. One award of $10,000 will be made.

QUALIFICATIONS:
|
- Applicants
must be graduating seniors in good standing
- Applicants
must be members of Bronco Federal Credit Union in good standing
- Applicants
must have applied to an accredited college or university
and the recipient must have been accepted prior to payment
of the scholarship.

MAKING
APPLICATION:
|
Applications
are available from the web site and the offices of Bronco Federal
Credit Union or the guidance offices of high schools in the
cities of Franklin and Suffolk, and the counties of Southampton
and Isle of Wight. Completed applications must be received by
April 4, 2008.

SELECTION
CRITERIA:
|
The Bronco
Federal Credit Union Scholarship committee will make its selection
based upon accomplishments in scholastics, school activities,
community activities, and contributions to the betterment
of our locale. Though it is not necessary to do so, applicants
may choose to address financial need if appropriate. Copies
of transcripts and any other information requested must accompany
the application. The selection of a recipient will be made
without regard for race, color, religion, sex, national origin,
or handicapping condition. |
ADDITIONAL
INFORMATION:

Students who have applied for, or received, other scholarships
are still eligible to apply. It is the applicant's responsibility
to assure that the Scholarship committee receives all forms
and requested information no later than April 4, 2008. The
scholarship is a grant with no stipulation that it is to be
repaid. Completed applications should be mailed or dropped
