Hometown Hero: Ie’sha Wyche

Our teammates really make the difference by giving you that “Welcome Home” feeling every time you visit a Bronco office. In this issue, we’d like to introduce you to Ie’sha Wyche.

Ie’sha is a Vault Teller at the Second Avenue office, and she’s been with Bronco for almost three years. She’s responsible for handling all of the money that comes and goes through the office and makes sure that all Member Service Representatives are equipped with everything they need to assist our members.

Fraud Alert: Lose more money than weight

Scammers are currently taking advantage of people who are trying to get in shape after putting on an extra pound or two over the winter. They may call or email, offering what sounds like an unbelievable fitness program you can do at home or a very low-cost gym membership. Remember the old adage: If it sounds too good to be true, no matter how much you want it to be so, it probably is.

One sure sign that something is amiss is if they try to pressure you to make a decision right then and there. If you feel pressured, walk away. By the way, if you really want to lose a few pounds or tone up a bit, there are many fitness programs and apps available for free on the Internet. Just be wary of any that ask for personal information or say they are free but then ask you for your credit card.

Welcome back

On Tuesday, April 25th, we hosted our first in-person Annual Meeting since the Covid pandemic hit. The meeting was held at the Camp Workforce Development Center in Franklin, and it was great to see so many familiar faces again!

For those who could not attend, Board of Directors Chairman Dell Cotton welcomed everyone before turning the program over to Board Vice Chair Travis Parker who announced our 2023 scholarship winners. CEO Brian Hedgepeth provided an update on what has been going on with the credit union since the last Annual Meeting, and the event ended with several door prize drawings.
