A New Year’s Message from Brian

2021 was another challenging year. Covid-19 continued to affect each of you in your personal lives. And it affected Bronco, as well, in how we continued to offer our products and services. Thanks to our understanding members and our terrific staff and volunteers, we were able to operate in a “business as almost usual” manner. Even dealing with the ongoing effects of the pandemic in 2021, Bronco was still able to maintain uninterrupted service to our membership. All facilities remained open all year long with normal operating hours, although we did have to deal with periodic restrictions of wearing masks and practicing social distancing. As we closed last year and entered this one, Covid-19 appears to be gaining some new momentum due to the Omicron variant. But we remain steadfast in our efforts to provide our members with excellent service. We thank many of you who have become less reliant on our physical branches by taking advantage of our ATMs, Night Drop boxes, Online and Mobile banking and our Remote Mobile Deposit service.

Regardless of the challenges we have faced and will face in the future, Bronco remains a safe and sound financial institution ready, willing and able to meet the needs of our members. In fact, we celebrated our 80th anniversary in 2021, and we plan to continue to meet the needs of our members for many more years. But we do know that without each of you, we would be unable to do what we do every day. Thank you so much for choosing Bronco as a proud financial partner. No matter the challenge, we are here to meet your needs.

Thanks again, and I wish a safe and prosperous 2022 to all of you.
Brian Hedgepeth, CEO

All “fore” the children

We were fortunate to be able to hold our annual golf tournament again last October 11th, raising a total of $30,417.67 for CHKD. What could be better than spending time outdoors with friends—both old and new—talking about that phenomenal shot that was just made, all while raising money for sick children?

In the 20+ years we’ve been hosting our annual golf tournament, we’ve raised a quarter of a million dollars ($252,477.35, to be exact) for local non-profits. And we’re always amazed and humbled by how much support our community provides and how many people get involved. Thank you all! We look forward to seeing you at this year’s event.

"SEE" YOU IN APRIL

We are big college fans!

Once again, we’re extremely proud to be able to announce our annual Bronco Scholarships. We can’t think of a more fulfilling way to prepare our high school members for a brighter, more successful future than by assisting them with college tuition expenses.

Last year we awarded more than $23,000 through the John Alan Glasgow, the James C. Copeland, the Charles A. Wrenn, and the Robert T. Petty Scholarships, in addition to Bronco Federal Credit Union Scholarships.

Details will be available soon. Check our website for details on how to apply. The deadline for application submissions is March 25, 2022.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU SENIORS OUT THERE!

The credit your business deserves

Bronco’s VISA® Business Credit Card is almost here!
We expect by mid-February we will be able to start issuing cards to businesses that want to enjoy the exceptional buying power a Bronco VISA® Credit Card carries. This will not only help separate business and personal purchases—which will come in handy at tax time—it also allows you to provide employees with the ability to make company purchases without worrying about dealing with expense reports, issuing reimbursements, and more.

Ready for more control over your business expenditures? Contact Lynn Powell or Diane Stephenson in Business Services for additional information.
