To do our part during Clean Rivers Month (April), several members of our team got decked out in dayglow colors and collected trash in the area surrounding our Stewart Drive office in Franklin. The idea is to keep trash from getting into the Blackwater & Nottoway watersheds, which is important to the communities that utilize these waterways and the local ecosystem. Since the program started in 2001 there have been 100,000 pounds of trash picked up by more than 2,300 volunteers. We're happy to do our part!
