Annual Scholarships

Bronco Federal Credit Union is committed to the communities which we serve. This is done through many different charitable and civic organizations as well as through financial literacy programs, but we are most committed to our scholarship program which began in 2001. Scholarships are offered to college-bound seniors who are members in good standing* of Bronco Federal Credit Union (or their parent/guardian) prior to January 1st of the applicant’s year of graduation. We have four named scholarships in honor of valuable members of our Bronco family and the Bronco Federal Credit Union scholarships.

The Bronco Federal Credit Union Scholarships vary in awards up to $5,000.

The Charles A. Wrenn Scholarship is offered in memory of Charles A. Wrenn, past Board Chairman, who served 30+ years on the BFCU Board. A $3,000 award will be made annually.

The James C. Copeland Scholarship is offered in honor of James C. Copeland, past Board Chairman, who served 30+ years on the BFCU Board. A $3,000 award will be made annually.

The John Alan Glasgow Scholarship is offered in memory of John Alan Glasgow, Franklin High School Class of 1999, to recognize the scholastic and life achievements of a graduating student. Up to $10,000 in varying awards are made annually.

The Robert T. Petty Scholarship is offered to seniors who wish to pursue a career or technical education program not necessarily affiliated with a traditional college curriculum. It is offered in memory of Robert T. Petty, past CEO of Bronco Federal Credit Union. Up to $2,000 in varying awards will be awarded annually.
