Will my loan qualify?
Here are a few things to keep in mind:
- Payment History: You must have made at least six months of full payments on the loan before it becomes eligible for a skip.
- Skip Limits: You can skip up to two payments per rolling 12 months, but you cannot skip back-to-back months. (There is also a maximum of 14 skips allowed over the life of the loan).
- Balances & Amounts: Both your loan balance and your regular payment amount must be at least $100.
- Paid Ahead Limits: Your loan cannot be more than 60 days paid ahead.
- Timing Matters: Make sure to request your skip early! Requests cannot be processed if you are already within the window where automatic payment processing has begun.
- Eligible Loans: Skip-A-Pay is available for eligible consumer loans only. This includes Vehicle, Recreational Vehicle, Personal, and Share Pledged loans. It is not available for Real Estate loans, Credit Cards, Ready Reserve Lines of Credit, or Commercial loans.
If your loan happens not to qualify this time around, don’t worry—our online tool will explain exactly why so you aren’t left guessing.
