Bronco Around Town – October 2025

With autumn everyone at Bronco keeps busy all over town with holiday preparations, raising money for a good cause, and connecting with our members. Here are October’s highlights.

Fall Festival
We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day in Downtown Franklin for this year’s Fall Festival on October 4^th! The streets were filled with friendly faces, laughter and plenty of hometown spirit. Bronco team members had a blast meeting community members and visitors. Everyone lined up to play a round of Plinko for fun prizes, with our money-roll stress relievers stealing the show as the fan favorite.

National Night Out
On October 7^th, Bronco proudly joined forces once again with the City of Franklin Police Department and the Southampton County Sheriff’s Office for National Night Out. It was an evening full of community connection and learning, as we shared information about Bronco’s services, especially our Buzz Club account for the kids! We’re always honored to support this event and help strengthen the bonds between our members, neighbors and local heroes.

Pink Friday
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month—and to help shine a light on the importance of early detection and treatment advancements—our Bronco team went all-in on pink on Friday, October 17^th! From shirts to smiles, we proudly showed our support for a cause that touches so many lives.

Trunk or Treat with Early Childhood Western Tidewater
On October 24^th, we joined Early Childhood Western Tidewater for a Hocus Pocus-themed Trunk or Treat! More than 500 visitors stopped by our booth, where we shared treats, smiles, and a friendly reminder that saving with Bronco isn’t scary at all.

Locals Choice Awards Celebration
October 29^th was a night to remember! Our team celebrated big wins at the Suffolk News-Herald Locals Choice Awards, where Bronco was honored as Best Local Credit Union, Best Financial Institution and Best Home and Auto Loan Provider. We’re deeply grateful to our members and community for your continued trust and support.

Halloween Fun
No tricks here, just treats and plenty of Bronco spirit! Our team got into the Halloween mood with costumes, laughs and a whole lot of fun.
