Our teammates set us apart, bringing that warm, familiar feeling to life every time you walk through the doors at Bronco. To help you get to know them better, we spotlight a team member in each Hometown newsletter.
This issue’s Hometown Hero is someone who has been part of the Bronco family for 4 years: Ashley Rawlings, our Vault Teller.
Now four years into her journey with Bronco, she’s embraced the opportunity to make a difference in members’ lives. In a fast-paced role, she balances multiple responsibilities while still taking the time to understand each member’s unique situation, treating everyone with care, respect and a genuine smile.

How long have you been with Bronco? What led you to join the team?
I have been with Bronco for 4 years now, and when I first applied for the Member Service Representative position, I wanted to step out and try something new. Banking was not one of my career choices at first, but now I love being able to make a difference for our members.
What makes you good at what you do?
Being myself and handling each member with care. I’ve always said I wanted to be treated with respect, and I ensure to do so with each and every member because you never know what a smile can do for a person!
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I enjoy the members and the different interactions and stories we hear. Most importantly, I love making an impact on someone because that is what it is all about. I also enjoy the bonds I’ve formed with coworkers throughout my time here at Bronco!
Tell us more about your role and its impact on the member experience.
Being the Vault Teller, I’m required to be on point and ensure I’m helping members and the tellers on the line. I ensure that, while assisting a member and juggling the different tasks of my position, I stop to understand what they need and how to handle their situation. Each member has a different story and may be facing things we will never know, but in that timeframe of helping them with what they need, I am sure to treat them with care, and not because I have to, but because I want to.
What do you think draws people to Bronco?
Our customer service is what draws members to us! Treating them as a person, not just a number. I know it’s rare to find good customer service, and we try our best to be all that we can be to have our members leave happy.
What does Bronco’s “Welcome Home” tagline mean to you?
“Welcome Home” to me means that when you walk into Bronco, you instantly feel right at home. I believe greeting members with a warm smile, ensuring they don’t feel rushed or unheard, and most of all, making sure that they’re well taken care of to the best of my abilities. When members leave, they know we’re here for them.
What do you enjoy outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with my sweet goddaughter. She came into my world and took over! I am so blessed to have such a sweet baby girl in my life, and to take in every moment I can with her.
